Kara: CLINICAL TONE IS DEAD AND I KILLED IT!

Basic plot: A guy is alerted to the foundation after being in a coma for a few months. While monitoring brain activity, his heart stopped, but his brain waves did not. Dude is alive inside of a dead body. The Foundation takes the dude and contains him in a place where his body will not decompose while also monitoring his brain waves. He is stressed, scared, not knowing where he is. The Foundation digs through his past and grave robs his wife, finding she has the same condition. She is also experiencing extreme stress. They clean her up and yoink her into containment with the first dude. Their brain activity calms down and even becoming happy. Soon after they are both put to rest, ceasing all brain activity. SCP-XXXX as a whole is pronounced neutralized.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: something about a partial embalming process being used to preserve the body, idk, this is Calibri BoldCalibri Bold’s job I guess.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is the brain residing in the corpse of Maxwell Hoffman. SCP-XXXX-1 produces similar brainwaves to a living human’s brain. It responds to stimuli via firing appropriate neurons despite the body being unresponsive. In addition, the body has begun the process of decomposition.

Brain activity from SCP-XXXX-1 has become extreme, bouncing from delta waves1 to hi-beta waves2 in seconds. SCP-XXXX-1’s neural activities have correlation to those in states of deep stress and anxiety or depression. All attempts to reduce these activities have only served to deepen SCP-XXXX-1’s mental status.
