Item #: SCP-XXXX
Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures

Foundation webcrawlers have removed all digitally published images, videos, documents, and other media created by civilians concerning SCP-XXXX as of 01/10/2032. In their place, a disinformation campaign was enacted by Foundation agents to discredit the original civilian sources and reinforce the cover story of a "previously unstable and dissipating black hole." All civilians who had interacted with SCP-XXXX prior to its neutralization1 are to be interviewed before being administered Class C amnestics.

Description

WhiteHole

Enhanced images of SCP-XXXX from the Event Horizon Telescope.

SCP-XXXX was the designation given to a white hole3 in-transit to Earth at an undetermined velocity. SCP-XXXX was capable of ejecting anti-spacetime4 at a currently immeasurable rate. Foundation personnel discovered the phenomena after investigations into the Boötes void5, revealed its approximate location. Observations of SCP-XXXX's effects on nearby planetary bodies and galaxies have allowed researchers to estimate its mass at approximately 1.989 x 1031 kilograms, with measurements of its radius averaging at nearly 15 kilometers.

How SCP-XXXX operated within our reality has become a primary research focus, as the current understanding of thermodynamic laws do not allow similar astronomical objects to exist. Past observations have theorized SCP-XXXX possessing olf values6. SCP-XXXX's olf value remains unknown; however, it has been estimated at approximately 1.24.

Any exploration into SCP-XXXX remains impossible. Investigations are ongoing in order to ascertain SCP-XXXX's path of trajectory as well as identifying methods of future observation and research.

Addendum XXXX-1 (Archived)

Following its discovery, Foundation personnel were tasked with investigating SCP-XXXX in order to better understand its properties. After a period of 6 months, researchers requested an interview with the O5 Council, which has been attached to this document.

On 06/23/2025, Foundation satellites recorded seven separate instances of electromagnetic patterns within a 24 hour period emanating from SCP-XXXX. Further investigation into these instances revealed that these patterns were encrypted communication channels.

Artificial intelligence programs were successful in decrypting these patterns after a period of 7 months. This decryption was translated into a possible message, which can be found below.

Investigations are ongoing in order to ascertain the motivations and goals of SCP-XXXX, as it currently remains unknown why Earth has been targeted. All long-distance communication attempts have been unsuccessful. Continued observations have been advised until Foundation personnel can determine SCP-XXXX's current location.

Addendum XXXX-2 (Archived)

On 03/29/2027, Foundation personnel were informed of several instances within our solar system exhibiting unusual or anomalous behavior. Recent observations from the Event Horizon Telescope have determined possible anomalous fluctuations in spacetime near the Termination Shock7. Recent reports suggest that these fluctuations, while minimal, may have affected aspects of our solar system. A detailed document concerning these reports, as well as how these observations pertain to SCP-XXXX, have been added below.

Following this document's publication, Foundation researcher Tim Carney was authorized to continue investigations towards a probable source for this disturbance. After a period of three months, Carney requested access to four separate Foundation satellites to experiment and record possible influxes within our reality. Carney also requested the authorization to attempt communication with SCP-XXXX after a series of reports and observations concluded that the anomaly was the source of this disturbance.

On 09/22/2029, the enaction of Protocol-AFTERFALL was granted after Doctor Collins submitted a peer-reviewed draft to the O5 Council. Following a 6-4-3 vote, the status of Protocol-AFTERFALL was approved, and the document was officially placed on standby. After an additional period of 2 months, the O5 Council agreed to move Protocol-AFTERFALL from standby to active. This was approved following several reports claiming that SCP-XXXX had successfully reached the Heliopause8 of our solar system.

After Protocol-AFTERFALL's development, O5 Representative Carla Manx was instructed to direct another interview with Lead Researcher Doctor Devin Collins, which has been attached below.

Addendum XXXX-3 (Archived)

On 3/10/2030, Doctor Collins proposed Protocol-MAMBA, which he later states as an "alternative to a failed and ill-prepared document." As directed by several of Doctor Collins colleagues, a non-redacted summary of this protocol has been added below.

After a period of 18 months, Doctor Collins announced that Protocol-MAMBA was nearly complete. Doctor Collins also informed the Council that the final preparations for sending Parox-01 to SCP-XXXX were almost complete. After an additional 2 months, Doctor Collins research team announced the rocket's construction and initial deployment as a success.

Foundation researchers estimated Parox-01's expected return date at approximately 6 months following its initial deployment. At the time of this writing, Parox-01 has not been physically seen since its initial deployment. However, on 8/01/2031, Foundation satellites captured a singular recording that had originated from Parox-01. This recording has been attached below.

Following the retrieval of this recording, Foundation personnel also discovered that several computer logs were attached, which correlate with the series of events that were observed in Video Log XXXX-1. These logs also conclude that Parox-01 was ultimately destroyed by the energy created from the wormhole. However, these computer logs also indicate that Parox-01 was successful in establishing and maintaining a wormhole. Current deep-space observations and the lack of anomalous disturbances within our solar system also correlate with these conclusions. SCP-XXXX's object class has since been moved from "Apollyon" to "Neutralized."

On 4/22/2033, Foundation satellites aimed towards Sagittarius A discovered a series of electromagnetic wave pulses that matched previous SCP-XXXX messages. These pulses were decrypted and translated into a singular message, which has been attached to this document.

This is the last recorded transmission of SCP-XXXX since its initial discovery, and its classification has been updated appropriately.
