Agent Creston holding SCP-4707 during a routine test run.

Object Class: Safe Keter1

Containment Procedures: SCP-4707 is to remain in a high-security, anomalous weapons locker when not in use. Field testing may only be carried out by the approval of the head of SCP-4707's containment.

Description: SCP-4707 refers to a single firearm resembling an M19112 semi-automatic pistol. What differentiates the firearm from other M1911 pistols is the replacement of its identification that is standard for all M1911 firearms with the words "H&W Mod #13" in its place.

During this process, the weapon will melt despite no change in surrounding ambient temperature, and will then reshape itself into a desired form.
