I Am Become Death 2

You've betrayed me, Julius.

I have done no such thing.

You said you listened to me. You trusted me. I trusted you.

To what end?

I want you to bring peace. Balance.

How is this peace? This is death.

There is no death. Their souls will transcend. Their bodies will die, yes.

And what of us?

You have already transcended.

Why do you want this?

I told you. I want peace. The dharma, the balance, is to be preserved. Two worlds kept apart at all costs.

It's not worth it.

The cost is nothing! Their souls continue onward.

You've trusted me for this long, Julius.

Please, keep trusting me.

We can only go so far! At what point do we stop?

We don't stop.

If they have to die completely for dharma to be preserved, then so be it.

I refuse.

You would seriously refuse me?

I am a god.

I see the past and the future, the beginning and the end.

I know what's best for you.

How do I know?

Because I've done so this far.

Your Foundation exists because of me, Julius.

The world, as terrible as it may be, would be far worse without my guidance, had I not inspired these affairs.

I have trusted you for so long.

I felt doubt, but it was quickly snuffed.

But this is too far, Vishnu.

I would say it's the greater good.

But it's the only good.

What good comes of this?

The dharma, the order, will be preserved!

You're still thinking in such a petty manner!

All I have done, all we have done, was to preserve the dharma. To keep two worlds apart.

If one world has to die for then to remain apart, then so be it.

Trust me, do as I say, and let the world be saved.
