ITEM #: SCP-XXXX
OBJECT CLASS: Pending…
SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES: The likelihood, position, and status of SCP-XXXX manifesting is unknown. All Foundation facilities are to install Scranton Reality Anchors (SRAs) site-wide in order to continually monitor and observe average hume levels. Should any SRA's in these facilities detect an instantaneous fluxation of hume levels, centralized within any region(s) of the Site itself, reality stabilization protocols are to be enacted appropriately, at the discretion of local policies and procedures.
In the event that these protocols are unsuccessful, complete Site evacuation is required. It is the responsibility of on-site Foundation emergency response teams to evacuate as many personnel as possible. Once all cognitive Foundation personnel are evacuated, the affected Site must remain quarantined until its local reality stabilizes, which may take upwards of 48 hours following initial fluctuation. Foundation personnel are authorized to aid in reality stabilization as deemed appropriate. Once reality has been restabilized, and the affected facility can be entered safely, Foundation recovery teams are to be dispatched immediately. Once these teams have successfully completed their regularly assigned responsibilities1 Foundation personnel may freely enter the previously quarantined Site and continue standard functions.
Furthermore, all personnel are hereby banned from using their personal mobile devices within Foundation property.
Front entrance of Subterranean Site-306AC, located outside Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. It was the first to be affected by SCP-XXXX, leading to the anomaly's discovery and continued investigation.
DESCRIPTION: SCP-XXXX is a sudden, reality fluctuation affecting Foundation Sites, seemingly at random. While observations and witness testimonies concerning this event have been unsuccessful, camera footage recovered from Site-306AC2 has provided the following information concerning SCP-XXXX:
- SCP-XXXX isolates particular regions, primarily those containing upwards of 8 people.
- SCP-XXXX drastically alters the layout and proportions of affected regions, allowing for the creation or removal of specific rooms and areas.
- Subjects within SCP-XXXX may develop alternate identities from their previous ones. While the exact reason for this is unknown, these identities appear to establish relations amongst all of the subjects within SCP-XXXX, especially those who never engaged with another prior.
- SCP-XXXX incentivizes the completion of certain tasks and responsibilities within it. These are evenly distributed amongst all subjects excluding one.
- One outlying subject, which appears to be selected at random, is responsible for preventing these subjects from completing their assigned responsibilities. The exact method for this is at the discretion of the subject themself.
- Subjects may convene with another at specific intervals of time. While the topic(s) of discussion during these congregations may vary, they all appear to be structured towards identifying the outlying subject.
SCP-XXXX will demanifest once all assigned tasks are completed, or when subjects are otherwise unable to finish them successfully. At the time of writing, only one manifestation of SCP-XXXX has been recorded within Site-306AC. It is currently pending reclassification into Neutralized.
