[BEGIN SCENE]

INT. MARY-JANE THEATER; BACKSTAGE

Director Mills, Agent Farrell, and Dr. Mays are searching the backstage area of the stage for Mr. Ace.

Dr. Mays:
I swear I saw him go back here.

Agent Farrell nods.

Agent Farrell:
He couldn't have gone that far. This place isn't that big.

Director Mills:
Think, he knows we're onto him for reality-bending. He might be using his abilities to his advantage to hide from us.

Dr. Mays looks around the small area. He then looks up at the ceiling, noticing an outlines figure amongst the black paint.
Dr. Mays points to the ceiling.

Dr. Mays:
Right there.

Mr. Ace jumps down from the ceiling, the disguise disappearing. He laughs.

Mr. Ace:
I see we have some volunteers.

Agent Farrell:
Mr. Ace, we just want to talk.

Mr. Ace:
That's what they all say.

Director Mills:
We promise no harm will come to you. We just need your cooperation.

Mr. Ace:
I'm not here to play games, agents. I'm not going to entertain this.

Mr. Ace pulls a smoke bomb out from his pocket and activates it.
When the smoke clears, there is no sign of Mr. Ace.

Director Mills sighs.

Director Mills:
We lost him— Again.

Agent Farrell:
It's okay, Jasper. This magic show just started.

Ep.01 S2 Viva la Revolución

Instance Duration: 45:05

Start Time: 18:06

End Time: 23:13

[BEGIN SCENE]

INT. 36th AVE.

Director Mills is driving to Autumn RD. to catch up with his team members. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a three-legged brown and white kitten sitting outside of a local shop.
Director Mills parks to the side of the road and walks up to the front of the shop. He kneels down, getting a better look at the kitten. It looked just like Missy. The blue eyes, the three legs, the heart-shaped spot on its flank — just like her.

A girl walks outside of the nearby shop, and stands behind Director Mills.

Girl:
She sure is a sweetheart.

Director Mills:
Yeah, she caught my eye.

Girl:
Was it her heart patch? Or the legs? Or both?

Director Mills:
I dunno, she was just cute, so I wanted to stop by and say hello.

Missy rubs her head against Director Mills' knee.

Director Mills chuckles.

Director Mills:
Hello to you, too.

Girl:
Her name is Missy.

Director Mills was taken aback.

Director Mills:
Missy?

Girl:
Yep. Named her myself. I’m Clara, by the way.

Director Mills:
Missy is a nice name. She's a lovely cat.

Clara:
She's the store's mascot.

Clara gestures towards the building behind her.

Director Mills:
Well, I should get going. Nice to meet you and Missy.

Director Mills stands up.

Clara:
Nice to meet you, sir.

Director Mills waves and walks back to his car. He gets in, starts the engine, and drives off.

FADE OUT

Addendum 3: Interview:

Interviewed: Assistant Director Jasper Mills

Interviewer: Dr. Good

Foreword: The following was conducted after Assistant Director Jasper Mills of the UIU was brought in and shown the discovered SCP-XXXX-1 instances.

<Begin Log>

Dr. Good: Afternoon, Director Mills.

Director Mills: Afternoon, doctor. I… suppose I’m here to talk about what I saw?

Dr. Good: Just tell me anything you feel is worth noting.

Director Mills: I mean, almost none of that’s actually happened. Only one episode — episode four portrayed us investigating an anomaly we’ve actually investigated.

Dr. Good: That’s quite strange. Did anything else stand out?

Director Mills: [nods] They acted just like us. It was… strange, watching this— thing act and sound exactly like me. [pause] Well, maybe exactly isn’t the word for it. There was something off.

Dr. Good: What do you mean?

Director Mills: Well, I can’t put my finger on it. Just— off. Oh, this one part, that whole sequence with the cat. I never owned one — I'm allergic. I had a black lab. That guy acted like he knew exactly what he was after. He acted like just… robotic.

Dr. Good: That sounds very stressing. Thank you for talking to me, Director Mills.

Director Mills: No problem… Dr. Good?

Dr. Good: Yes?

Director Mills: Do you know where this website and these episodes came from?

Dr. Good: [shakes head] Unfortunately, we have not figured that out yet. I will inform you if so.

Director Mills: [nods slowly] Thank you, doctor.
