Item #: SCP-0000
Object Class: Safe (presumed neutralized)
Special Containment Procedures: Security cameras are to be placed in office number 024 of Site-209 (which previously belonged to Dr. May Rollins). The tapes between the hours of 16:00 and 17:00 Site-209 local time on December 31st are to be reviewed following the end of an SCP-0000 event to ensure no major changes in footage take place from the previous year. The security tapes are then to be stored in a secure storage locker in Site-209.
Description: SCP-0000 was a GPO 746 Rotary Telephone. Initially, SCP-0000's anomalous properties consisted of the ability to add and subtract seconds from a minute, and minutes from an hour. These properties dissipated after SCP-0000 was broken during an incident which occurred on 12/31/2013.
SCP-0000-1 was an externally observable time loop that took place between 16:00 and 17:00 Site-209 local time on December 31st, 2014, approximately a year after the incident of 12/31/2013. SCP-0000-1 consisted of a repeat of the events that took place the previous year during the incident.
Addendum: 12/31/2013 Incident
SCP-0000 was being tested by Researcher Ioan Hanson and Dr. May Rollins. Approximately twenty minutes into testing, Dr. Rollins tripped over SCP-0000's cord and fell face first against her desk, causing a head injury. Researcher Hanson then smashed SCP-0000 against the wall forcefully, promptly breaking it. He then attempted to navigate the present time sink1, and punched it when unable. It is to be noted that Dr. Rollins was trained in operating time sinks, while Researcher Hanson was not.
Dr. Rollins's injury caused her to go on leave, before she ultimately retired six months later.
It is notable that Researcher Hanson has established anger issues, therefore he was only authorized to work with non-dangerous anomalies whilst undergoing bi-monthly counseling sessions with Dr. Nicolle Love. This protocol is now outdated; see notes for more information.
The following is a transcript of the security footage of the incident.

[BEGIN LOG]
16:01 [Researcher Hanson:] So it works just like trying to call someone, right?
16:02 [Dr. Rollins:] Yes. I actually learned to use one of these when I was a kid. I grew up with my grandparents, who refused to face that times were-a-changin. [chuckles]
16:04 [Researcher Hanson:] Pretty cool, May.
16:05 [Dr. Rollins:] Yeah. Now, let's get to work. I've got another test in an hour.
16:07 Dr. Rollins begins to dial up SCP-0000 to the number five.
16:07 [Dr. Rollins:] Do I just think how much time I want to pass? hm, I guess we'll find out.
16:12 [Dr. Rollins:] What time is it, Ioan?
16:12 [Researcher Hanson:] 4:12.
16:13 [Dr. Rollins:] Yes! it worked!
16:13 [Researcher Hanson:] Hey, Cool. Go for a longer amount of time, oh, go backwards!
16:14 Dr. Rollins dials SCP-0000 up to the number one.
16:13 [Dr. Rollins:] Time?
16:13 [Researcher Hanson:] 4:13. We can check the video for sure, but I'm pretty sure it worked.
16:14 [Dr. Rollins:] Awesome!
16:15 [Researcher Hanson:] I can go take some notes on what we've got so far.
16:15 [Dr. Rollins:] I'll do it. I know how I like my notes typed.
16:16 Dr. Rollins jogs forward, tripping over SCP-0000’s cord; SCP-0000 is pulled down from the table and onto the floor. Dr. Rollins falls face-first into her desk, then to the ground where she remains still.
16:16 [Researcher Hanson:] May! Oh my god!
16:17 Researcher Hanson runs over to Dr. Rollins.
16:17 [Researcher Hanson:] M..May? Are you okay? Oh, screw that, can you hear me?
16:17 Dr. Rollins does not reply.
16:18 Researcher Hanson moves Dr. Rollins onto her side. Dr. Rollins has sustained a swelling, bloody lump on her forehead.
16:18 [Researcher Hanson:] [gasps] May!
16:18 Researcher Hanson walks over to SCP-0000, and picks it up.
16:19 Researcher Hanson slams SCP-0000 against the wall three times, then throws it to the floor.
16:20 [Researcher Hanson:] Piece of shit phone! Why the fuck did you have to have a cord? [pause] GodDAMNIT!
16:20 Researcher Hanson bolts to stand.
16:20 [Researcher Hanson:] Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, what did I do?
16:21 Researcher Hanson rushes over to the temporal sink, and begins to navigate the interface.
16:21 [Researcher Hanson:] How the fuck does this thing work?
16:24 Researcher Hanson grunts and punches SCP-0000 forcefully.
16:24 A bright white light is emitted from the time sink; a klaxon begins to sound.
16:25 The light fades; Researcher Hanson is now on the ground, unconscious.
[END LOG]
Notes: Following the incident, Researcher Hanson was demoted to Level 1 status, indefinitely prohibited from working with anomalies of any kind, and received a downgrade in pay. Researcher Hanson was also required to attend weekly therapy sessions with Site-209 psychologist Dr. Nicolle Love starting the day after the incident occurred.

SCP-0000-1 events consist of Researcher Hanson and Dr. Rollins manifesting in Dr. Rollins' office in the exact state it was in on 12/31/2013. Researcher Hanson and Dr. Rollins will begin to test a fully functional SCP-0000. Actions taken are identical to the day of the incident until the time stamp 16:16, when Researcher Hanson will then begin to prevent the events of the incident from occurring. At exactly 17:00 Site-209 local time, both Researcher Hanson and Dr. Rollins will demanifest. Researcher Hanson will return to the location he was in before the event began. When questioned, Researcher Hanson claimed to to have no recollection of anything that occurred during any SCP-0000-1 events to date.

Addendum 2: SCP-0000-1 Event List
The following is a summary of all SCP-0000-1 events which have taken place to date.
Iteration: One
Summary: Identical to the events of the 12/31/2013 incident.
Iteration: Two
Summary: Researcher Hanson insists on being the one to take notes instead of Dr. Rollins. When Dr. Rollins begins to walk over to Researcher Hanson, presumably to see the notes he is taking, she trips on SCP-0000’s cord; the events from this point forward carry out identical to the first iteration.
Iteration: Three
Summary: Researcher Hanson warns Dr. Rollins to watch out for SCP-0000's cord. Dr. Rollins steps over the cord, and does not trip. When reapproaching Researcher Hanson after taking notes, she trips over the cord, hitting her head against the wall.
Item #: SCP-0000
Object Class: Keter (SCP-0000-2 is considered neutralized)
Special Containment Procedures: Security cameras are to be placed in office number 024 of Site-209 (which previously belonged to Dr. May Rollins). The tapes between the hours of 16:00 and 17:00 Site-209 local time on December 31st are to be reviewed following the end of an SCP-0000 event to ensure no major changes in footage take place from the previous year. The security tapes are then to be stored in a secure storage locker in Site-209.
SCP-0000-1 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment unit in Site-209. Any staff members considered close to Researcher Ioan Hanson are not allowed to work with SCP-0000.
Description:
SCP-0000 is an externally observable time loop which takes place between 16:00 and 17:00 Site-209 local time every year on December 31st. The phenomena began in 2014 after the 12/31/2013 incident. SCP-0000 events consist of SCP-0000-1 and Dr. Rollins manifesting in Dr. Rollins office in the exact state it was in on 12/31/2013. SCP-0000-1 and Dr. Rollins will begin to test a fully functional SCP-0000-2. Actions taken are identical to the day of the incident until the time stamp 16:16, when SCP-0000-1 will then begin to prevent the events of the incident from occurring. At exactly 17:00 Site-209 local time, both SCP-0000-1 and Dr. Rollins will demanifest. SCP-0000-1 will return to its containment unit.
SCP-0000-1 is formal Foundation Employee Ioan Hanson. SCP-0000-1 is the source of SCP-0000-1 events. The method by which changes propagate beyond the scope of an SCP-0000 event is unclear. While certain details will propagate into the future, most dissipate within the space of hours or days, allowing baseline to casually reassert itself fully at 17:00 Site-209 local time.
SCP-0000-2 was a GPO 746 Rotary Telephone. Initially, SCP-0000-2's anomalous properties consisted of the ability to add and subtract seconds from a minute, and minutes from an hour. These properties dissipated after SCP-0000-2 was broken during an incident which occurred on 01/02/2013. It is speculated that the destruction of SCP-0000-2 is what supplied SCP-0000-1 with its anomalous properties.
Addendum 1: 12/31/2013 Incident
SCP-0000-2 was being tested by SCP-0000-1 (formerly Researcher Ioan Hanson) and Dr. May Rollins. Approximately twenty minutes into testing, Dr. Rollins tripped over SCP-0000-2's cord and fell face first against her desk, causing a severe head injury. SCP-0000-1 then smashed SCP-0000-2 against the wall forcefully, promptly breaking it. He then attempted to navigate the present time sink, and punched it when unable. It is to be noted that Dr. Rollins was trained in operating time sinks, while Researcher Hanson was not.
It is notable that SCP-0000-1 has established anger issues, therefore he was only authorized to work with non-dangerous anomalies whilst undergoing bi-monthly counseling sessions with Dr. Nicolle Love. This protocol is now outdated; see notes for more information. Information regarding SCP-0000-1 working with other anomalies is now outdated.
Dr. Rollins's injury caused her to go on leave, before she ultimately retired six months later.
The following is a transcript of the security footage of the incident.

Addendum 2: SCP-0000 Event List
The following is an abridged summary list of SCP-0000-1 events which have taken place to date.
Iteration: One
Summary: Identical to the events of the 12/31/2013 incident.
Iteration: Two
Summary: SCP-0000 insists on being the one to take notes instead of Dr. Rollins. When Dr. Rollins begins to walk over to SCP-0000, presumably to see the notes it is taking, she trips on SCP-0000-2’s cord; the events from this point forward carry out identical to the first iteration.
Iteration: Three
Summary: SCP-0000 warns Dr. Rollins to watch out for SCP-0000-2's cord. Dr. Rollins steps over the cord, and does not trip. When reproaching SCP-0000 after taking notes, she trips over the cord, hitting her head against the wall. The events from this point forward carry out identical to the first iteration.
Iteration: Four
Summary: SCP-0000-1 destroys SCP-0000-2 the moment the loop begins. In shock, Dr. Rollins questions why SCP-0000-1 destroyed it. It replies, "You'll see." Dr. Rollins informs SCP-0000-1 that she will have to report it, and the two both exit the room.
SCP-0000-1 later reported to foundation personnel that during iteration four at 16:58, Dr. Rollins experienced a seizure. She had been standing at the time, and hit her head on her desk as she fell to the ground, promptly sustaining a head injury.
Addendum 3: SCP-0000-1 Interview
VIDEO LOG
Interviewed: SCP-0000-1
Interviewer: Dr. Nicolle Love
Foreword: The following interview took place on 12/18/2020.
<Begin Log>
Dr. Love: Hey there, how are you?
SCP-0000-1: What, no SCP-1234-682-3009?
Dr. Love: Lighten up a bit, sport. I was just asking how you were. SCP-0000, I know it's hard for you. But, as long as you cooperate, things will go smoothly.
SCP-0000-1: [snaps fingers] There it is.
Dr. Love: Anyway, I'm just gonna go on ahead with the questions. When did you first learn you could control the loops?
SCP-0000-1: I just thought— "Oh fuck, I hope this doesn't happen in reality", and "yeah, that better still be there when I get back." Are we done now?
Dr. Love: You know that's not how this works. Okay—
SCP-0000-1: Do I? I got demoted before I could interview any skips. I just worked with artifacts before I was sent to therapy.
Dr. Love: Okay… next question. SCP-0000-1, when did you become aware that you were an active participant in these loops? When asked initially, you had no memory of the events that occurred.
SCP-0000-1: For some time.
Dr. Love: Do you care to specify what you mean by that?
SCP-0000-1: Nope. I'll leave you with incomplete notes.
Dr. Love: [jots down something on her clipboard] Okay. Why do you still try to prevent the incident? In every loop, you've failed, even when all danger was taken away for Dr. Rollins.
SCP-0000-1: At this point, I'm just trying to test the loops. See what they'll throw at me. It's not like I can stop the loops from occurring. Trust me, I've tried.
Dr. Love: It's been assumed this attitude is why there's been evidence of you tampering with anomalous items during the loops? We were admittedly puzzled as to why you did not try to hide that this was you, knowing you have that capability.
SCP-0000-1: [shrugs] Eh. I've done worse stuff that I kept in the loops. Figured it might give you a laugh. Plus, I'm living the rest of my life here as an object, knowing May is permanently injured, being taunted with the opportunity to fix it, but cursed with the inability. Might as well have some fun.
Dr. Love: So SCP-0000-1, what do you consider the "boldest" thing you have done during a loop?
SCP-0000-1: I tested to see if I could leave the facility.
Dr. Love: Could you?
SCP-0000-1: I couldn't get very far in thirty minutes.
Dr. Love: You couldn't leave?
SCP-0000-1: I didn't say that. I said that I couldn't get very far.
Dr. Love: Are you going to tell me where you went when you left the facility?
SCP-0000-1: No.
Dr. Love: Alright. Why did you leave if you knew you had little time to accomplish anything?
SCP-0000-1: Eh. [hesitates] Cause.
Dr. Love: 'Cause?'
SCP-0000-1: Yes. I left because I could. It's really quite simple, Nicolle.
Dr. Love: I see. You once returned from an SCP-0000 event with SCP-530 and the Anomalous Item named Peachy. Would you like to tell me what you did with these?.
SCP-0000-1: Don't make it sound malicious, Nicolle. I like dogs. I played with them.
Dr. Love: I see. We're nearing another SCP-0000 event. Wanna tell me any plans you have for it?
SCP-0000-1: No I do not. I like to keep you on your toes.
Dr. Love: Alright. Thank you for talking with me today.
SCP-0000-1: Yes.

SCP-X occupies Site-209, typically within SCP-████'s containment cell, Researcher Hanson's office, Dr. Rollins's office, and the on-site cemetery. The only being which has yet to react differently each time the loop resets is Researcher Hanson (unless Researcher Hanson interacts with someone, therefore changing their typical actions), who is aware of SCP-X's occurrence each year, but has limited memory of the events that took place.
SCP-X events differ each year, but so far have all Researcher Hanson mourning the loss of Dr. Rollins. SCP-X events to date have included: Researcher Hanson visiting Dr. Rollins grave and talking to it, talking to an on-site psychologist, destroying SCP-████, having a catatonic episode, and hallucinating.
Time index: 16:00 - 16:05 Researcher Hanson approaches the on-site cemetery, and locates Dr. Rollins' grave.
Time index: 16:05 - 16:20 Researcher Hanson talks to himself, then follows to address Dr. Rollins.
Transcript of Researcher Hanson's Speech: [silence] I… did this. It feels weird. To know that I did this. [pause] I didn't kill her on purpose… but then again, she's dead due to my mistake. [pause] Dr. Rollins, May… are you mad at me? [silence]
Time index: 16:20 - 16:45 Researcher Hanson sits in silence.
Time index: 16:45 - 16:59 Researcher Hanson returns to his office, and takes a book off of his desk, and starts to read it.
Time index: 16:59 - 17:00 Researcher Hanson disappears from his office, and reappears in the Site-209 breakroom, where he resided before SCP-X took place.
Time index: 16:00 - 16:05 Researcher Hanson enters Dr. Nicolle Love's office.
Time index: 16:05: - 16:25 Researcher Hanson begins to talk to Dr. Love about his thoughts regarding Dr. Rollins death.
Transcript of Speech:
Researcher Hanson: So, I'm here to try and make some sense of things.
Dr. Love: Alright, what is it that you want to talk about?
Researcher Hanson: Dr. Rollins.
Dr. Love: Is this related to her death two years ago? Today is January second, it must have triggered your memory of the event.
Researcher Hanson: That's… what happened, yes. Anyway… [pause] I can't get her out of my head. All I can think about is— how it all went wrong.
Dr. Love: That sounds very tough. Think about what you did right in the situation. Also, think about the good times you and May had together.
Researcher Hanson: I could do that, I suppose.
Dr. Love: Good. Just remember that she wouldn't blame you.
Researcher Hanson: Yeah, I will.
Dr. Love: For reference, do you think that she would blame you for what happened? In these situations, people have different reactions, self-blame is a common one.
Researcher Hanson: I don't think that she would blame me.
Dr. Love: Alright. Then, what is the main thing other than May's death that is a stressor?
Dr. Love: Oh, alright. Take care. You can talk to me whenever you'd like.
Time index: 16:25 - 16:40 Researcher Hanson steps out the door, and walks down the hall, and to his office.
Time index: 16:40 - 16:59 Researcher Hanson takes a book off of his desk, and begins to read.

Transcript of Researcher Hanson's Speech: What… What are you doing here? [long pause] You didn't… have to. I'm doing okay. [pause] Eh, [shrug] I dunno. [long pause] It's just… ever since you passed away, it's like… [quick pause] I dunno. I've lost a part of me. [Researcher Hanson remains quiet for a minute] I suppose that's… true. [sighs] It's so hard to keep myself from falling apart. Your guidance made it so easy to stay strong. [long pause] [sigh] That's what damn— Nicolle Love said! I've been trying! I finally started reading that book you recommended, I uh… shoulda a lot sooner, it's got me hooked. [chuckles, followed by a sigh] I miss you, May. I lost my real mom, and now I lost you. [long pause] I know.

Item #: SCP-X
Object Class: Euclid (Proposal for reclassification to Keter has been submitted, approval pending)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-████'s containment cell security tapes from the hours of 16:00 and 17:00 GMT+11 on January 2nd are to be viewed following the end of an SCP-X event every year, and are then to be stored in a secure storage locker in Site-209.
Junior Researcher Hanson is to attend a counselling session following every SCP-X event.
Description: SCP-X is an externally observable time loop which lasts an hour that takes place between 16:00 and 17:00 GMT+11 time every year on January 2nd. The phenomena began in 2014 after the SCP-████ incident on December 31st, 2013.
Junior Researcher Ioan Hanson and Dr. May Rollins had been testing with SCP-████, when a miscalculation was made regarding SCP-████'s maximum input & material type/suggestion, resulting in the death of Dr. Rollins, as she had been too close to the SCP at the time, and died via electric shock.
SCP-X occupies Site-209 within SCP-████'s containment cell. Within each different iteration of SCP-X, Researcher Hanson will attempt to prevent the death of Dr. Rollins, and has only repeated tactics once, but has not been successful to date. As the time and date requirements for SCP-X are met, Researcher Hanson will vanish from his present location. Although the door to SCP-████'s containment cell has been unable to be opened during any SCP-X event, trackers have indicated that Researcher Hanson manifests inside. Outside of SCP-X events, Researcher Hanson is aware of SCP-X's occurrence each year but has limited memory of the events that took place. All he has been able to recall is "feeling compelled to redo what happened".
Addendum 1: SCP-X Events
The following is an abridged list of recorded SCP-X events.

Time index 16:00 - 16:10 Dr. Rollins and Researcher Hanson set up SCP-████ for testing.
Time index 16:10 - 16:15 Dr. Rollins inputs "Aluminum" into SCP-████'s "material type" slot.
Time index 16:15 - 16:25 Researcher Hanson inputs 234 sheets of paper opposed to 250 sheets.
Time index 16:25 - 16:30 Dr. Rollins pressed the "print" button. SCP-████. Aluminium sheets begin to release from SCP-████, then quickly clogging the output slot.
Time index 16:30 - 16:30 Dr. Rollins asks Researcher Hanson to call for assistance while she attempts to fix SCP-████.
Time index 16:30 - 16:31 Researcher Hanson picks up a walkie-talkie.
Time index 16:31 - 16:32 Dr. Rollins walks past SCP-████, and was electrocuted, promptly falling to the ground.
Time index 16:32 - 16:38 Researcher Hanson quickly walks over to Dr. Hanson, proceeds to check her pulse.
> Transcript of Researcher Hanson's Speech: No! Goddamnit! Fuck— Not again! God…
Time index 16:38 - 16:59 Assistance arrives, dealing with the situation accordingly.

SCP-X SUMMARY: Researcher Hanson removes the ink cartridge from SCP-████.
[BEGIN LOG]
Time index 16:00 - 16:10 Dr. Rollins and Researcher Hanson set up SCP-████ for testing.
Note: It is suspected that it was during this time that Researcher Hanson removed the ink cartridge from SCP-████.
Time index 16:10 - 16:15 Dr. Rollins inputs "Silicone Rubber" into SCP-████'s "material type" slot.
Time index 16:15 - 16:20 Researcher Hanson inputs 200 sheets of paper.
Time index 16:20 - 16:21 SCP-████'s screen displays an error symbol, prompting Dr. Rollins to inspect it.
Time index 16:21 - 16:26 As Dr. Rollins comes in contact with the slots where the ink cartridges would be, immediately collapsing to the ground. SCP—████ began to print, presenting an output with a greenish colour.
Time index 16:26 - 16:28 Researcher Hansen rushes over to Dr. Rollins, not attempting to check her pulse.
> Transcript of Researcher Hanson's Speech: How the fuck did this happen? I didn't even know this was possible! [sighs] Next time… I have next time.
Time index 16:28 - 16:59 Assistance arrives, dealing with the situation accordingly.

Time index 16:00 - 16:06 Dr. Rollins and Researcher Hanson begin to set SCP-████ up for testing.
Time index 16:06 - 16:06 Researcher Hanson stops his part of the setup.
Transcript of Speech:
Dr. Rollins: Ioan, what are you doing? We're on a schedule.
Researcher Hanson: I was thinking that we could postpone the experiment. Till like… after five o' clock pm tomorrow.
Dr. Rollins: That's specific. [chuckles] But, we're already set up, physically, and on the testing schedule.
Researcher Hanson: I just think that was should do it tomorrow. I thought I could get some paperwork done today instead.
Dr. Rollins: It's nice that you want to be productive, Ioan, but we have this set up now, so we're going to do it.
Time index 16:15 - 16:17 Researcher Hanson attempts to push SCP-████ off of the table, but Dr. Rollins pushes it further on.
Transcript of Speech:
Dr. Rollins: Ioan, what has gotten into you?
Researcher Hanson: I know what I'm doing, May. This is for the best.
Dr. Rollins: Ioan, I don't want to have to enact discipline but that may be what is necessary if you don't stop.
Time index 16:20 - 16:26 Researcher Hanson half-way picks up SCP-████, but looses grip, dropping it back onto the table. He half-way picks it up again, but Dr. Rollins attempts to pull it from his grip, failing.
Transcript of Speech:
Dr. Rollins: Ioan, give it to me! You're going to break it!
Dr. Rollins attempts to pull SCP-████ away with more force.
Researcher Hanson: I have to do this!
Researcher Hanson tightens his grip on SCP-████.
Time index 16:30 - 16:35 Dr. Rollins forcefully pulls SCP-████ away, but quickly loses her grip and balance, sending both her and SCP-████ to the ground, SCP-████ landing on top of her chest and neck; along with the sounds of crashing metal, several snapping bones were heard.
Transcript of Researcher Hanson's speech: Fuck— she's dead. She's dead again! [silence] Goddamnit, May. I swore to myself no one I cared about would die again. In comes assistance.
Time index 16:35 - 16:59 Assistance arrives, dealing with the situation accordingly.
