No Hands

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is restricted from the general public and guarded by Foundation personnel, under the guise of North Carolina park rangers.

SCP-XXXX-1 is contained in a standard humanoid containment unit. SCP-XXXX-1 must not be provided access to any type of art supplies. Should SCP-XXXX-1 breach containment, SCP-XXXX is to be restricted from the general public until SCP-XXXX-1 is recontained.

Description: SCP-XXXX is Lake Quincy in North Carolina. SCP-XXXX is the location of a disproportionately high number of boating accidents. All victims of boating accidents at SCP-XXXX suffer from the same injury: the loss of their hands. No other major injuries have been reported as a result of accidents in SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX.1: During a routine internet scan, a Foundation web crawler encountered a DeviantArt profile page with multiple references to victims of SCP-XXXX. All images on the user's page were of SCP-XXXX victims, after losing their hands. The user was tracked down and detained by Foundation personnel, and tentatively classified as SCP-XXXX-1.

Further investigation revealed that all art posted to the account had been posted almost immediately preceding related SCP-XXXX accidents. It is believed, and further supported from SCP-XXXX-1's testimony, that affected individuals were retroactively manifested as a result of SCP-XXXX-1's artwork.
