Assigned Site | Site Director | Research Head | Assigned Task Force |
Site-19 | Dr. Everett Mann | Dr. George W. Moto | MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") |
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-173 is to remain sealed in a sustainable containment chamber equipped with a H.V.A.C. System for D-Class Personnel to proceed the sanitation protocol. SCP-173's Containment Chamber is to have equipped with luminous lights to prevent a potential containment breach during the sanitation protocol or by an unplanned occurrence.
Every 172800000 Milliseconds (48 hours), the sanitation protocol is to be enact. A minimum of two (2) D-Class Personnel are to infiltrate into the radius of SCP-173's Containment Chamber to successfully enact the sanitation protocol. The D-Class Personnel are to immaculate SCP-173's Containment Chamber of iron oxide and rebar that SCP-173 manifests. When a single D-Class Personnel is to blink, they are to signal the other D-Class that they are going to block their perception for a minimal radius of time.
Should SCP-173 have a change in behavior, an acting HMCL-Supervisor currently on duty is to be contacted immediately.
Description: SCP-173 is a sculpture that appears to be crafted primarily out of concrete and rebar that is approximately 2 meters in length. SCP-173 appears to be capped in colors that appear to resemble spray paint branded by Krylon-Spray-Paint. The center of SCP-173's head appears to be colored in black paint similarly to the bottom two eyes that appear to be painted similarly to the center of SCP-173's head. It's upper two eyes appear to be colored with lime green and white paint encircled by Hemoglobin (blood) that was originally mistaken for red paint prior to SCP-173's containment.
SCP-173 will animate and will alter its location once eye-contact is broken with SCP-173 in a direct-line-of-sight. When SCP-173 animates, it will create a scraping vibration that occurs when direct-line-of-sight is broken. When SCP-173 animates, it manifests a trail of iron oxide and rebar, when there are no individuals making eye-contact with SCP-173 or when eye-contact is interfered.
The origin of SCP-173 is currently unknown to the Foundation, but an investigation to find the original creator of SCP-173 is undergoing investigation by Dr. George W. Motto and Dr. Skyla D. Karren.
Addendum 14-A: SCP-173 was relocated from Site-0█ to Site-19 in █/██/1993 due to Incident 17B-3 and the potential of causing a similar event.
Incident 17B-3: In █/█/1993, SCP-173 was currently contained at Site-0█. SCP-173 breached containment and when Personnel infiltrated SCP-173's Containment Chamber, they found that SCP-173's Containment Chamber was capped in iron oxide and rebar. Shortly after SCP-173 was recontained, Dr. Carlos S. Rodriguez, Facility Director of Site-0█, ordered that D-Class are to immaculate SCP-173's Containment Chamber. During the first (1st) sanitation protocol, the two (2) D-Class Personnel sentenced to SCP-173's Containment Chamber blinked at the same time, and both D-Class Personnel were assaulted by SCP-173 and found dead with their necks snapped below the jawline. SCP-173 caused a Site-Wide Containment Breach that was contained by MTF Eta-10, MTF Beta-7, MTF Eta-11, MTF Theta-4, and MTF Lambda-12.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-682 is to be contained via a containment chamber compiled of 250 Millimeters reinforced acid-resistant iron oxide plate lining. Protocol suggests that SCP-682's Containment Chamber be replete of hydrochloric acid until SCP-682 is completely deluged in the hydrochloric acid and appears incapacitated. Once SCP-682 reduces its proximity to 8 meters, protocol suggests that SCP-682 be removed from it's Containment Chamber to prevent SCP-682 from accommodating from its current ambiance and causing a Containment Breach. SCP-682 is to be relocated to land and when SCP-682 begins to show signs of reclamation, SCP-682 is to be relocated into its Containment Chamber for a temporary amount of time.
Any attempts to communicate with SCP-682 verbally and or physically is to be prevented and any unauthorized personnel that enter the Unit of SCP-682's Containment Chamber, MTF Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") must forcefully extract the subject and if personnel remain vacant of Foundation orders, the personnel is to be terminated, with permission granted under any circumstance by Senior Administrator Dr. Maggie H. Flores, Dr. Daniel D. Gears, Dr. Zyn Kiryu, and Commander F. Williams.
To prevent unauthorized personnel from locating SCP-682 and attempting to communicate with SCP-682, the Secure Facility Location where SCP-682 is contained is only accessible to the O5-Council, Ethics Committee Members, SCP-682's Assigned Mobile Task Force, the Facility-Director, the Head-Researcher of SCP-682's Containment, and other selected personnel. There is to be a 1 kilometer radius between personnel and SCP-682's Containment Chamber unless the Facility-Director, the Head-Researcher, and the majority of the Ethics Committee grant accessibility for testing and research revolving around SCP-682.
Description: SCP-682 is a sapient reptilian entity that partially resembles a varanus komodoensis that is approximately 8 meters in length when protocol requests that SCP-682 be removed from it's Containment Chamber to prevent a Containment Breach similar to Incident 6B-2. SCP-682 appears to be sapient and it has been recorded that SCP-682 results in complex consultation when exposed to SCP-079.
SCP-682 has proven to be easily agitated via vocal transmitting and or motion jesters. SCP-682 can alter its appearance depending on its surroundings and physical state of matter such as when SCP-682 was exposed to water and SCP-682 was successfully able to generate gills onto itself. SCP-682 appear to be extremely vigorous and agile when circumstance reveals that SCP-682 has breached containment or when agitated.
SCP-682 can digest material with assist from a set of filters located in SCP-682's nostrils, which are capable to extract adaptable closed or spatial matter from any location of oxidane equations solutions, hence making it accessible for SCP-682 to perpetually rejuvenate from injury of hydrochloric acid and other oxidane materials that act as material that can do harm to SCP-682.
Addendum 682-A: SCP-682 has attempted seventeen (17) containment breaches but only a select six (6) were successful. Each Containment Breach was contained by a select few of MTF Nu-7 ("Hammer Down") agents.
Addendum 682-B: Portion of recorded transcript of ██████.

1200: SCP-682 appears to represent anguish when exposed to SCP-409-1.
1300: SCP-409-1 ceased manifestation at approximately sixty-two percent (62%). SCP-409-1 ruptured and SCP-682 was extremely anguished and SCP-682 was exposed to massive trauma.
Neutralization failed
1400: SCP-682 recovers from exposure to SCP-409 and SCP-409-, beginning to re-manifest organs of SCP-682 to prevent permanent exposure to anguish.
