So It Goes

Item #: SCP-YYYY

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-YYYY is a German WWII-era incendiary bomb. Markings on the casing indicate the date of manufacture to be between 1941 and 1943. Attempts to detonate it have met with failure, despite the fact that analysis has shown the bomb to still contain a significant amount of incendiary material (isobutyl methacrylate).

If an individual directly views SCP-YYYY, there is a chance that they will be subjected to one of a number of seemingly disconnected hallucinations. Over the course of a hallucination, the individual will be unable to move; MRI scans show no change to subjects' biology, indicating that the paralysis is psychological in origin. Though details vary from subject to subject, the core features of the hallucinations allow classification.

The initials "E.D." have been scratched on to the side of the bomb. Investigation into the significance behind these initials is ongoing.
