Special Containment Procedures

sarsi.png

Sarsapillsa products found in SCP-5870.

Class-B amnestic agents are to be dispersed to witnesses of SCP-5870's manifestation. A monitoring station is to be installed near SCP-5870, which is located in Noveleta, Cavite Province, Philippines.

Foundation embeds in local government units in the area are mandated to initiate Cover Story-180 ("Derivative Sect") in the area. Paraphernalia marked as the property of the 'Church of Sarsi Cola' are to be removed.

SCP-5870-1 is to be housed in a standard humanoid containment cell in Site-160. Its accounts of Sarsi Cola's influence on its region are to be logged and verified under the Extradimensional Prime Directive. SCP-5870-1 is to be subjected to psychiatric evaluation weekly.

Exploration and dealings with the inhabitants of SCP-5870-2 are to be considered to mitigate the cultural effects caused by Sarsi Cola. An investigation team is to be launched concerning the possible involvement of other soda companies such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.

Description

SCP-5870 refers to a 2000-square-meter Baroque-style church which manifested near the coastlines of Noveleta on July 5, 1990. Several banners, documents, and clay tablets marked as assets of the 'Church of Sarsi Cola1' have been found. A brief assessment of SCP-5870 is provided below.

SCP-5870-1 is a middle-aged humanoid female named Takemiko. It is capable of speaking Tagalog and an unidentified Polynesian language, while DNA analysis indicates that it is descended from people inhabiting Okinawa, Japan, and Batanes, Philippines. It has scored 15 on the Hamilton Rating Scale, indicating moderate depression.

It was found unconscious near the church pulpit, sporting a scar on its arm. It awakened in two days and was subsequently interrogated after two days of observation.

According to SCP-5870-1, it has served alongside its family in SCP-5870 for approximately five years. SCP-5870 is one branch of the Church of Sarsi Cola, which has spread through SCP-5870-2. SCP-5870-1 is capable of establishing a Way3 to SCP-5870-2.

SCP-5870-2 is a dimension with a general olf value of 0.894 Analysis indicates that it is Earth-sized, and cultures found in the area so far are mainly human. SCP-5870-1's claimed residence is influenced by a mix of Asian cultures, primarily Filipino.

Interview Report-01

Takemiko forces the foundation to establish a presence in her region, in order to stop the spread of sarsi cola's scam religion. This is due to invoking the prime directive, which is a protocol to avoid cultural contamination due to baseline reality people's antics.

SCP-5870-1 Exploration Logs

Put stuff here exploring this alternate world, and sarsi cola's effects on it. be creative here.

Conflict between takemiko, her father, and the nature of the church, set against the background of capitalism and the fact that the sarsi people helped the region mature and develop. this will end with the father trying to commit suicide concerning his honor, which takemiko fortunately stops just in time. talk about how religion ultimately affects a person's honor, and why its so hard to break from it.

Interview Report-02

Add stuff here about how takemiko wasnt able to sway her father, and how religion really attaches itself to people. The sarsi religion is still going strong, and is in fact planning a crusade.
